Speaking at a news conference after the meeting with Trump, Polish President Andrzej Duda said he has “a feeling that the United States is serious about Poland's security.” Warsaw has repeatedly expressed concerns about its security due to “growing aggression and a growing threat from the East,” apparently hinting at Russia.

Meanwhile, the US president stated that Washington is working with its NATO ally to deal with Russian’s “destabilizing behavior.”
“We are working with Poland in response to Russia's actions and destabilizing behavior,” Trump told reporters without specifying any moves on Russia’s part.

“We do not agree with this approach,” the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated. The statement came just one day before the long-awaited meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump. The Kremlin expects that the two leaders will establish “a working dialogue, which is probably vital for all the world in terms of improving efficiency in resolving a critical mass of conflicts and problems.”

Aha! Przypomniał mi się bodaj jedyny konkret z ich spotkania - Trump powiedział: "we may increase US LNG price", ale to nieważne, bo zaraz potem dodał, że Duda to "twardy negocjator"  Cwaniak

To to akurat był żart. Przynajmniej tak to odebrałem.

Nie widziałeś tych podnieconych tłumów, wieszczących, że to nowy Zjazd Gnieźnieński, że TAKA persona nas zaszczyciła, że nawet podał rękę, że międzymorze. Typowo polskie kompleksy wy/ni jak na talerzu.

Nie. Obejrzałem wyłącznie samą konferencję na YT - bez żadnych komentarzy podnieconych dziennikarzy.

A może chodzi o to, że Polacy nie mają kompleksów względem USA tylko entuzjazm? Ja np. nie mam kompleksów względem bogatszych sąsiadów tylko entuzjazm, że im się tak dobrze powodzi i sam chcę do tego dążyć. I może dobrze, że Polacy wolą cenić jako wzorzec potężne militarnie, naukowo i gospodarczo USA z entuzjastycznym prezydentem a nie taplające się w błotku politpoprawności Niemcy, których niezadowoleni, markotni i smutni politycy jeśli już się wypowiedzą to o tym, że nad Polską wisi widmo faszyzmu; że tu już nie ma demokracji, że trzeba nam imigrantów i multi kulti itd.

Przy czym właśnie zaczynamy mieć bardzo poważny, zbieżny interes polityczny ze Stanami:

On 14 June, the US Senate voted to impose new sanctions on Russia and to significantly impede the potential of the Donald Trump Administration to lift the already existing sanctions. The document was adopted as a result of an agreement between the Democrats and the Republicans (97 votes for and 2 against).

The Senate’s decisions cover:

a) Restricting President Trump’s ability to lift the US sanctions on Russia already in place. To do this, he would have to submit a report to Congress justifying the need to lift the sanctions and explaining what the administration intends to receive in return. Congress would then approve or reject the president’s decision within thirty days.

b) Increasing the sanctions previously imposed on the Russian energy sector (a ban on the sale of technologies for oil and gas extraction from difficult to access fields, including the Arctic, shale and deep-water fields) by expanding them to all projects in which Russian firms are engaged (including those outside Russia).[...]

c) The imposition of sanctions on persons who “will make investment that directly and significantly contributes to the enhancement of the ability of the Russian Federation to construct Energy export pipelines” or who “sell, lease or provide to the Russian Federation for the construction of Russian energy export pipelines, goods, services, technology, information, or support” (including such that may facilitate the construction, modernisation or repairs of export pipelines). The Senate has left it up to the Presidential Administration to decide whether to impose sanctions on each firm (US or foreign) that invests in Russian oil or gas pipeline projects (for example, Nord Stream 2). At the same time, it is stated in the document that the US policy envisages “to continue to oppose the Nord Stream 2 pipeline given its detrimental impacts on the European Union’s energy security, gas market development in Central and Eastern Europe, and energy reforms in Ukraine”.

Niestety nasi bliscy, unijni sojusznicy martwiący się o stan demokracji w Polsce jakoś nie mają oporów by bronić swojego biznesu ubitego z najeźdźcą Ukrainy, dyktatorem Wladimirem P.:

Germany and Austria condemned a proposed expansion of U.S. sanctions on Russia, saying the measures sought to bolster U.S. economic interests and included an unacceptable intervention in the region’s energy sector.

“Europe’s energy supply is a matter for Europe, not the United States of America,’’ German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel and Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern said in a joint statement. “Instruments for political sanctions should not be tied to economic interests.”

At the center of the criticism is the planned $10 billion Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, that to some extent would compete with U.S. exports of liquefied natural gas to Europe. The 1,220 kilometer (758-mile) link, designed to cut Russia’s reliance on gas transit through Ukraine, would double the capacity of an existing route to Europe’s biggest economy.

The Nord Stream 2 pipeline will have “detrimental impacts on the European Union’s energy security,” and on reforms in Ukraine, according to an amendment added to a bill by the U.S. Senate on Wednesday to tighten curbs against Russia. The U.S. will “continue to oppose the link,” according to the bill. The Senate passed the measure on Thursday. It still needs to be taken up by the House, where it may be revised, and the White House hasn’t yet made clear whether it’ll sign the bill.

Dokładnie to samo stanowisko reprezentował Tusk, próbujący niedawno bronić interesów Polski (czym mnie bardzo pozytywnie zaskoczył):

W środę 14 czerwca Komisja Europejska miała poprosić kraje Unii o udzielenie jej mandatu do negocjowania z Rosją warunków budowy Nord Stream 2 z Rosji przez Bałtyk, jednak zrobiła to już w piątek – stanowisku sprzeciwiała się tylko Polska.

Atmosferę wcześniej podgrzał jeszcze Donald Tusk, przewodniczący Rady Europejskiej, jednoznacznie twierdząc, że gazociąg rosyjski będzie szkodliwy dla całej UE. W ujawnionym przez „Financial Times” liście do Junckera Tusk pisze: „Budowa Nord Stream 2 pozwoli Rosjanom na zamknięcie szlaku tranzytowego przez Ukrainę, a agresja na ten kraj się nie skończyła. (...) Uzależni nas bardziej od rosyjskich dostaw i skupi tranzyt gazu wzdłuż istniejącej trasy. Ponadto umocni pozycję Gazpromu jako dominującego dostawcy gazu do UE”. Jednak to też nie pomogło.

W piątek Komisja Europejska stosunkiem głosów 1:27 przyjęła po cichu, bez dyskusji stanowisko w sprawie kontrowersyjnego gazociągu. Sprzeciw zgłosiła tylko polska komisarz Elżbieta Bieńkowska, rumuński sprzeciw wpłynął po czasie, a koalicja, na którą liczyliśmy, czyli m.in. kraje bałtyckie, sprzeciwu nie złożyła.

Niemcy jebane oczywiście oszczały Tuska pokazując nam tym samym jak silna jest wspólna polityka UE. Kiedy trzeba komuś wcisnąć ciapajczyków to napierdalają o solidarności i wspólnej polityce, ale kiedy przychodzi do ruchania Polski w kakało, to już wspólnej polityki nie potrzebują.

Najkorzystniejsze teraz byłoby dla nas, gdyby Stanom udało się przeforsować i wymusić na UE (czyli przede wszystkim na Niemcach) zmianę planów co do Nord Stream 2.

Po drugie Polska mając gazoport mogłaby rzeczywiście stać się tym całym "hubem" i pomóc innym krajom Europy w uniezależnianiu się od gazu rosyjskiego. Tego się ruskie chyba najbardziej obawiają vide komcie pod tym artykułem: https://www.rt.com/business/395455-polan...ng-supply/

Nawet jeśli jest tak jak piszą (czyli, że gaz z USA będzie droższy niż z Rosji), to warto się poświęcić i dopłacić, niż być zależnym od ruskich.

To jest ta Murzyńskość, o której mówił Sikorski. I teraz weź ktoś spróbuj wytłumaczyć to ciemnemu ludowi. Przynajmniej mamy juź stu procentowe potwierdzenie, dlaczego tak się wkurzyli kiedy taśmy zostały opublikowane - prawda boli.

Murzyńskość powinna być z polskiej polityki wyrugowana na rzecz chłodnej kalkulacji tego co jest w interesie naszego kraju. I nie ważne czy chodzi o relacje z USA czy Niemcami czy z jakimkolwiek innym państwem.
