A Spinozy Bóg też może być bardzo życiowy. Jego filozofia jest przesiąknięta mistycyzmem, o nim się mówi, że był racjonalistycznym mistykiem, jest określany jako "God-intoxicated man." Jego etyka jego jest bardzo witalna.
Znam gościa, który zaczytywał się w Spinozie i doznał coś w rodzaju "satori".

It was obvious that Spinoza was absolutely central for Deleuze’s thought, and from working on Deleuze and phenomenology and their tension I ended up going back to the Ethics and spent a good year or so reading it as carefully as I could, together with various commentaries by Deleuze, Negri, Gueroult, Wolfson, Macherey, Bennett, Curley. Then one day, having set myself up for it I suppose, I had a sort of conversion experience outside a gas station in rural Virginia. I was watching the sunset while filling up the gas tank and all of a sudden realized that Spinoza was right, really right about the structure of immanence and the pragmatic relation — the identity, actually — of knowledge and being. It was a bit of a Zen-like satori moment! And I’ve never gone back.
